Elf was dull and boring

The movie Elf was hilarious and makes me laugh throughout the movie. This show takes out 90% of the humor and focuses on Buddy’s finding and then building his relationship with his father. It wasn’t funny and I honestly was bored watching. The songs were unamusing and I would have left at intermission but held out false hope that the second half would be better. It wasn’t. My two teenager daughters didn’t like it either. Not sure what age group they were playing to, but no one from our family (including my wife) cared for this show. Complete waste of time and money.
